Don’t Spin (Developing an Organisation Network for Table Soccer to Promote Inclusion and Novelty) recalls the super-italian golden rule of every table football match. It’s also the name of the european project, that lasts 2 years, thought and promoted by Sport Toscana Calciobalilla association, thank to the Erasmus + call.

Altopascio is the leader in Europe of the project, which involves a network made up of Bulgaria, Holland, Slovakia, Portugal and the Czech Republic.

Don’t Spin has a twofold objective: on one hand, to build a network that uniforms the practice of table football at an European level and, on the other, to use this sport as a tool for inclusion and socialization. The latter, in fact, has been the main mission of the association since its foundation, a point of reference in Italy and Europe for the spread of table football as an inclusive sport in all respects.

A common culture for a game that no longer represents only a playful moment but that becomes an occasion for union and sharing between people and European countries.

In details, the project, which lasts two years from January 2020 to June 2021, provides the promotion of table football, by telling its history and its psychophysical benefits, through events that will be held between Italy, Portugal and Bulgaria. Along with this, it will be created an European network between among the Federations of Bulgaria, Holland, Slovakia, Portugal and the Czech Republic, in addition to the Italian one, which aim to draw up a common international regulation for table football.

“Table football is a highly democratic game. Forced, or perhaps helped, by a longitudinal bar, the men-players must move in unison, all together: when one kicks, they all kick. There is also merit because the game, between carambola, shots and contrasts, rewards more skill than luck”.
